Day View app for iPhone and iPad

Day View is a simple way to view your day showing you information displayed as compact user friendly cards. Day View provides you with useful information such as the weather, live traffic, the latest news and even events from your calendar.

You can also create task sheets within Day View which are a collection of user defined tasks that can be completed with just a swipe! These task sheets are designed to help you accomplish goals, get things done and complete your day!


Data & Privacy

Your data and privacy is very important and Day View takes great care in making sure your data is safe and used appropriately. Day View uses the Day View API, third party services, your location, and apps on your device to get the data and information that is displayed within Day View.


Your location
-------------

Your location (longitude and latitude coordinates) is sent to the Day View API and the third party services Dark Sky API and Mapbox but only if you give Day View access/permission to do so. This can be changed in your device settings.

It is used to display your current location on maps and get accurate weather data for your current location. Your location is also reverse geocoded into human readable text, for example "Manchester, England, UK".

When sent to the Day View API, your location is only used at the time of the request and is then discarded, it is never stored or logged in any way.


Data from apps on your device

Day view can get data from apps on your device such as your calendar but only if you give Day View access/permission to do so. This can be changed in your device settings.

The data is pulled straight from the app itself and dispalyed within Day View. It is never stored, logged or sent to any servers, not even the Day View API.
